Media Career
A communications professional for over 25 years, Sylvain Hallé has held positions as a sports journalist and commentator in radio and television in Montreal — including CKAC, CKOI, CITÉ FM (now Rouge FM), TVA as a sports anchor, and Radio-Canada as a sports writer and broadcaster.
He had the privilege of calling the legendary Good Friday Game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Quebec Nordiques on CKVL, and covered multiple disciplines for TVSQ-25 (now RDS) — including the QMJHL, the Collegiate AAA league, and the American Hockey League with the Sherbrooke Jets and Canadiens.
He also appeared in the first three seasons of the TV series Lance et Compte and co-hosted a quiz show on Radio-Canada with Dominique Michel.
Athletic Background
Like many parents, Sylvain began as a volunteer in minor hockey in Repentigny — coaching from the MAHG method through the Bantam level as a single and double-letter coach.
Since 2006, he has been deeply involved on the American side: Prep Schools, junior hockey, and American colleges.
Over all these years, Sylvain has built an extensive network of contacts in the United States and Canada.
